Am proud of me and dd for finally getting up the courage to bath one of them! Only four more to go....
Vic was very unimpressed in the water but is loving the
cuddles in towels and surprisingly the hairdryer!
Think we'll leave the others for another day Tho.

We bathed our trio when they bonded (the sows are smooths and the boar is a Teddy)
Like our previous boar (Rex) his fur dries almost instantly like Bri Nylon Drip Dry
DD is allergic to rex and Teddy fur so there must be something weird and magical there.
We have outrage when we claw clip (and the weekly weigh in )

I think the mum and her three babies, who are now a year old, but evermore known as "the babies" are smooth, but Vic has different fur, very soft, but longer - gorgeous shade of grey, where as others are tri colour.
I'll post a pic when I'm not on the app
I've never weighed mine, they've been weighed at the vets but ages ago, before we were brave enough to claw clip them ourselves.
Think that might be a job for tomoro morning, although they eat so well, I don't think they are underweight....

Milly do weigh them, I know you can gauge how they feel by lifting them up and feeling their fat coverage.
But our Rex boar died in January , one of the only indications of his illness (and I have no idea even now what caused it) was his weight loss.
He was a bulky 3lb. Fit and solid.
He lost about 6oz in total but was still eating and poohing until his dropping went soft. (I did all the diet alterations, Probiotics etc)
Two vet visits in the space of 48 hours, a fluid infusion and antibiotics.
(He had liquid pooh the day before he died).
He was 18 months old 
Our sows ate the same and until the liquid pooh, lived with him. They are fine, no weight loss.
A loss of even 2oz needs monitored.
My DH (techy type) does a spreadsheet
Our new boar lost 2oz when he bonded but made it back within 2 weeks (being chased I reckon) . They've all shed their winter fat coats and are looing sleek.
