Too much lavender

For all those with GPs wishing to compete in any forthcoming Olympigs please be aware that lavender has been added to the list of banned substances. All pigletes will be breath tested for the presence of lavender.

This follows today's episode when Gingerpig managed to tug a huge sprig of lavender through the bars of his run and devoured it. He then spent 20 minutes doing mad runs and leaps round and round the run at great speed. Poor Scruffy was trying to snooze and did not take kindly to a youngster attempting to hurdle him, misjudging it and landing on his back!

Grin I can't stand lavender so it's a banned substance here anyway.
I suppose it needs to be added to coriander in the list that Makes Pigs Narky. (aka Guinea-Pig Crack Cocaine)

We give coriander , parsley and mint to our pigs, so far so good.

Poor Scruffy ,having Gingerpig taking a flying leap and not quite clearing him. That would've woken him up in a rotten temper for sure Wink

Guinea-Pigs Banned Substance List:

our boars were banned from coriander. I gave them a nice pile of it thinking "Oh it looks like parsley" they had an almighty fight, really viscious (and it was my little black Abby boar who started it, he normally was the Mild Mannered Janitor type, turned into Hong Kong phooeys Evil Twin Shock

Parsley they could eat for Britain, no problems (except when it ran out, they can't have too much. GP1 got his Judgey Pants hoiked up)

And Gingerpig...lavender. Smile

We have 2 new ones. Our previous one was very laid back. The new ones go a bit bonkers after dandelions, which is shame been as the garden is bloody full of them...
