That's it really. I'm seeking name suggestions for our new (boy) bunny. So trying to avoid cute girly names.

I love Pudding as a pets name but maybe that's because I give mine too many treats and they end up with a little pudding sized tummy until I put them on a diet.

You may not want something referring to food for a rabbit though. Hmm

I like 'person' names for pets, so how about Walter, Bernard, Arthur, Henry, Charlie or Brian (after the horse that's been in the news)?

I think DD (who has the authority to veto anything I suggest) will not want people names.

As he is orange I was thinking Sulis, as in the sun God. I'm pretty sure she will veto that one too. I also though Mango, but doesn't really sound like a boy.

Jaffa (when he;s neutered, he'll be seedless Grin )

We've got a lovely big cuddly ginger guinea pig and his name is 'Furno'. Named after one of the 'Lego Heroes' in Lego Hero Factory ( cos he's DS1's pig and this was his passion at the time Grin) but it's also a lovely name for an orange animal as it sounds like the Italian for fire.

Another quite funky option might be Pumpkin, which is Furno's Halloween nickname (he has a habit of fluffing out his fur and sitting in a kind of ball shape and really looks like a furry pumpkin at times!)

Congrats on new bunny Smile There is something insanely cute about small ginger/orange furries!

Kia-ora ( "too orangey for crows, it's just for me'n' ma dog" )

Tropicana

Sunny-D

Tango

(I like human names for male animals and cute names for females )

Love "Pumpkin" Grin

Probably not ideal but Paw Paw may work. Or alternatively throw out some names you know DD will say no to and save the one you want until the end when she may relent because everything else didn't workWink. Alternatively take her to the library to see if there are some animal books she likes which she could pick a name from or alternatively a favourite character from a book she loved - magic faraway tree has some great names.

Oh that is a sneaky strategy. I like it.

We have biscuit names for our two dogs - Oreo for our little black one and Timtam for our caramel one. Everyone comments on how cute the names are. Maybe Jaffa for your bunny.
