I've never kept hamsters but from your other link , as you've got 2 cats , it'll need to be 100% cat proof,
(I also remember helping my NDN catch one of her hamsters after it escaped behind the sofa. There are Houdinis 
and I'm used to grabbing lardy arsed guinea-pigs)
