you need a good old pampering session, have a nice long bath, take time with your hair and make-up get some nice underwear (best to feel great from underneath too) and your best togs - you'll feel brill

and think POSITIVE!

Eugenious Fri 15-Jul-05 17:19:59

I really let myself go after ds2 - wore baggy Tshirts and track pants and no make-up as I had eczema over one eye (too many sleepless nights).

One day I decided enough was enough ( this was when ds2 was about 2) and smartened myself up - got some decent casual clothes that fitted, started styling my hair and putting on a little make-up

You can change if you want to - go for it

best quick fixes ever -- good salt body scrub, plucked eye brows and shaved legs and pits, ironed clothes that fit and some nice jewellry... I find my hair makes me feel slimmer and more glam when straightened so invest in some GHDs (thanks cod!!) Get some of those fab underwear things from M+s magic range -- I love the stomach flattening tights to make me feel smoother round bum and hips...

you will look fab with a bit of time and effort....and anyway people who look glam all the time are incredibly shallow!!
