knee-high boots for the long of leg? Save me from looking like I'm wearing outgrown cast-offs!

am tall so unsurprisingly have proportionally much longer legs than average. No problem getting shoes in size 7.5/8 but knee-high boots is another matter! Never, ever long enough! They always unflatteringly end at the biggest part of my calf rather than just below the knee.
Have tried just about every high street shop and specialist places doing different widths but not lengths. Long tall sally have hideous poor quality boots this year so won't even go there. any tips? Thanks!

HAve you tried Tallgirls?

LTS had some lovely DM boots but they sold out straight away.

Yes I am 6ft 2 and have a 37 inside leg. i bought some knee high black boots from them last year and they are not bad. Not leather lined but well made and I am still wearing them this year and they look good.

thanks, one more qu if you don't mind. one review said they come up small. do you go 1 size bigger than you would on the high street with them? Thanks again!

Sorry, went out to get DS4 and only just back.

I am a 10 and usually find the size 10 is an ok fit. I had a problem with some LTS boots last year which came up small but I've not had that problem with tall girls and I have bought lots of shoes there.

hope you find some nice boots.

I got some lovely long suede boots from Wallis - in grey, but the black is lovely, block toe, so extra long.
