Well i have a budget of about £80-£100

To get ds some winter clothes (not including shoes, wellies, hat, coat, etc).
Mainly tops and jumpers as he has lots of jeans/bottoms that i got in last years winter sales.

He is two in November.

I've just had a look on the websites in thread title and like a few bits but would only be able to get him about 3-5 items of clothing with my budget.

So i really need a cheaper alternatives.
I don't really like character tops and prefer plain things whith stripes or a simple block printed design. I like things in teal, brown, oranges, some reds, black etc.

I got him a few nice tops and other bits in H&M for the summer but can't you can't get their stuff online and am nearly 32 weeks pregnant and really tired. Ds is a nightmare shopping as he just wants to walk everywhere. I don't have the energy to chase after him in busy shops during the summer holidays. Plus the weathers pretty dire here.

So any help and links to oline shops would be great!

Thanks!

It's a shame you don't feel like shopping. My girls are almost exclusively dressed by GAP sale stuff.

packs of tops here etc I have ordered from them in the past - sometimes it was fine and sometimes they never got stuff in so I can't unreservedly recommend them but mostly it was ok.

I get lots of my DS's things in Boots:mini mode website

They are cheap, wash well and come in lots of colours other than blue/brown!

I am rather proud of the fact that my little boy hardly ever wears 'boy colours' - other good place is H&M but as you say, they don't sell online.

Ebay is also good for No Added Sugar stuff - had a few bits off there over the past 2 years.

Sainsburys (TU) stuff pretty good and bright. I buy everything from ebay tbh.

That's sort of the thing but they don't have a large variety of stock.

I would like to order quite a few bits from the same website to save on P&P costs. Rather than the odd bit here and there but def on the right track, thank you!

I's also look at ebay for bundles of Boden/Gap etc. Your budget will go much further and its an easy way to shop, if you choose a reliable seller.

Wow, I had no idea Adams was still trading online - I thought it had packed up along with the shops!

I'm on the minimode website, already started stuff in the shopping basket! Some really lovely colours.

Will have a browse on the adams website.

really wish gap sold online too!

There is a gap near the H&M that i shop at, but unless i can offload ds for the day it makes shopping really hard, unless i'm popping in and out. I work on weekends although only five weeks left, although i dout i'll want to go shopping when on maternity leave, just pass out in bed!

will check e-bay too. Although dp is funny about ds having second hand clothes. Even though he gets hand me downs from a family friend....but aparently that's not the same....he is odd!

That would be hard as we share an e-bay account! But i do know people sell a BNWT and BNWOT so not ruling out e-bay at all!

Make sure you search for a discount code for mini mode, I found one that was 20% off and I think it lets you have free delivery if over 35 pounds before you put the 20% code in. Actually, may have bookmarked it so will look now.

try this

Enter your e-mail address here and they will instantly e-mail you a 20% voucher which you can use in the online store (minimum spend £20).
Valid on sale and special offer items too, hope it still works.

I love mini mode stuff, washes really well too.

I second KidsShouldBeKids. I have ordered a lot from them and the clothes are very good quality, the owner is lovely and the delivery is quick.

DS has two piles of tshirts in his drawer, favourite and not-so-favourite. The KSBK stripy tshirts are all in the favourite pile.

WHy dont you post a wanted ad here on MN?

You dont need to tell your DP that the things you buy are pre-loved.

But it will make your life easier as there is so much more choice and its loads cheaper than buying everything new...

try jojomamenbebe, free delivery and some nice bits.

and I also seem to get good bits in ASDA & Sainsburys

  • im mum to 2 boys and hate the limited choice that boys have -

mine are dressed pretty much from car boots & NCT sales. I still managed to feed my car boot obsession when I was overdue with DS2 and DS1 was 6 days old the 1st time I took him to one. My one rule though is that I buy good quality brands like gap

I wash everything before my kids wear it, even new stuff from stores, so DH wouldnt know what was brand new & what was 2nd hand anyway.

Nappyaddict I would be interested in a 2-3 year old bits, think he would quickly grow out of the 18-24m stuff.

I am looking for hoodies, jumpers etc. Warm winter bits.

MIA link didn't work, but thank you for trying.

Mme I had another look on KSBK not much toddler bits so will have to wait for AW bits to come on but fell in love with the stripy outfits may have to get a couple for ds2.
