What to wear with denim gypsy style skirt?

Think this section is fascinating. What different people (none of whom I've ever seen) think goes with what.

Anyway I have a faded denim gypsy skirt. Its kneelength and I am OK on the tops but wondered what to wear on my legs/feet. On Sunday I wore it with choc brown flat boots and brown patterned tights. I think it looked OK but was wondering what to wear it with if the weather ever warms up. I am 5 4 and a small size 10 but have big knees and wide feet so not all styles of shoes suit/fit me.

A strappy crinkly top with some wedges.

Got the top (more than one). Thought I was lacking some wedges. Any recommendations?

I wear mine with my cowboy boots usually, but will break out my deliciously 70s stacked heels later on when its summer.

I don't wear coloured tights with mine.

So do you wear plain tights or cold legs smufrgirl?
