Another wasted order just arrived.. how do I buy clothes online that FIT??

Today in the post came three gorgeous Nomads tops. They are all TOO SMALL. Last top I bought from them is on the generous side - where did I go wrong?

This is a constant annoyance for me. I waver between size 10 and 12 (clearly rather more of a 12 ATM). It just depends on the shop, the cut and fit of the garment.

MNers, do you normally buy two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit, or stick to shops you know, or send back 75% of your online shopping becuase it doesn't fit?

I am getting right fed up with all this. I hardly ever get a chance to go to high street shops and I like the choice online, but it just feels like I'm constantly disappointed.

rant...rant...rant...

I quite often buy things in different sizes/lengths so that i can just return the ones that don't fit. Some sites have free postal returns or you can return the clothes to the shop.

don't they have a size guide?

This particular shop just had "10-12" and "12-14" but the variation is huge even if I study measurements carefully.

Clearly it is just me!

Not just you blithedance, I ordered two sets of clothes on line recently and wll went back.
Am also a 10-12 and never know which size to order as it really depends on label and cut.
Hae given up and will stick to RL shopping I think...

If it's got free returns and I'm not sure, I buy two. Some retailers you can return to standalone stores free so I do that.

Other than that, I stick to shops where I know what size I will usually be in what item of clothing.
