How old are DDs. Gap have some pink ones and some cream ones in the toddler section but I have not looked in the older kids' sections. Primark are usually good for polo necks.

there are some in the bigger girls section of H&M, (I didn't check the smaller girls section), but not in a huge variety of colours afaik - just black and brown maybe.

We usually get them from Gap but I haven't seen any in there (although there are long sleeved tops, at 2 for £12 which maybe ok). (I went on similar mission for my dds last weekend).

Not sure dd's are size 5 (4-5) I nevcer go in there as normally find there tops are to short in length but they were £3.99 and 3 for 2 so picked up all the colours they had in her size

PS She also has patent t bar shoes and thick tights blush

I've had a high street mind blank.

I can only think of Next and Adams for kids one the high street.

And yes please do report on the tracksuit.
My dd is skinny and her mothercare tracksuit is crap.

On a shop last week picked up 5 polo necks from (don't laugh) Primark.

They are in all sorts of colours, I have got them in bottle green, red, grey ribbed, black and teal blue. They fit very nicely, the tops of the sleeves have a nice gathered detail, and the polo neck bit and arms are long (v. important to me as am very tall and always have to suffer sleeves being too short).

I have washed a couple and they haven't shrunk yet, know they won't last forever but they are good for the price (8 quid afair). Fabric is rather thin, but I prefer that for layering.

Failing that, Next (gaah - hate Next normally!) polos are very good as well, think they are around £15. Have some which are 2 years old and they still look very new.

Oh for gods sake sorry just read OP properly and now see that you want polos fror daughters not yourself!

Must say when skim reading other posts I was a bit hmm at the thought of tartan skirts with petticoats on adults, but thought what the hell!!

(am a silly twit)

OMG- Calif- I had those same kilts! Thank goodness you can't get them anymore! I hated them.

EachPeachPearMum Fri 26-Sep-08 20:14:56

Oh, and I always get DD's polo necks from vertbaudet, but of course, online not in a shop, sorry.
Next perhaps?
