Kiko eyeshadows - anyone else found the packaging not great quality?

I bought an eyeshadow from Kiko as I'd been struggling to find a navy blue and it came up in a search. Also bought a lovely contrasting shimmery peach. The eyeshadows themselves are fab - great pigmentation and long lasting. However, the lid hinges have broken on both of them and they've not been badly treated (well, no more than other eyeshadows and no other broken lids). Can't do much about it anyway but just wondered for future reference .

Yes I had one eyeshadow pallete from them, the lid broke off like you’d expect from Poundland makeup or something and there was orange eyeshadow all over my bag Envy not bought from them again although I do like their face wipes even though they’re so expensive

Thanks @z0fl0ra . It's a shame because I like the eyeshadows I bought. They're ok for use at home with broken lids but not for travel!

I’ve got several Kiko single and double eyeshadows, use them every day (not all of them at the same time obvs, lol) and so far haven’t had any lids break. Fingers crossed, there’s nothing more annoying than eyeshadow everywhere!
Agree that the pigment and colours are fab.
The eyeshadow twist up sticks are amazing too. Hopefully you were just unlucky this time?

Thanks @Snooks1971 . I've not had eye shadows break before unless I'd dropped them, and I haven't dropped either of these. They are both colours I've worn a lot so will buy again when the shops open but as I've hardly used them, I didn't want to keep buying if broken boxes was a common theme!

Hi @RockingMyFiftiesNot sorry bit of a delay with my reply! I’ve got one duo eyeshadow that I always take to work with me (pre lockdown!) basically because it’s easier to cart my make up bag about than be selective. [lazy]. It’s still intact. Interested to hear others’ experiences too.
PS go online to their website for their sales/offers etc, no substitute for testing colours in person but worth a look.

I've had two Kiko eyeshadows shatter, and a powder highlighter.

Such a shame as I like the products. Not so much the sales assistant who followed me round trying to force more expensive products on me!

Been using Kiko for years without bother, but must admit my make up rarely leaves the house.
