My deepest sympathies. I am in hiding after the worst haircut in the world which I had in June. I can only offer the hope of that Autumn is coming and hats won't look so odd.
I made the mistake of having a picture taken with my mother the other week and it was like looking at twins. There are two crumbs of comfort we can take from this situation: 1. Hair always grows
2. At least we know how we don't want our hair in future!

Moljam why not go back to salon and explain that you think its too short and you don't feel happy with it? I am sure there will be something that can be done to help.... without seeing picture its hard to say... but how about highlights if its an all over colour you have, or layers to kick out and get away from the short boyish look, try flicking the ends if you can with straighteners?? xx

I think short hair looks good with loads of blonde highlights. Or if its longer than a bob...some hair extentions?

I complained to the salon a week later as it took me that long to come out of the state of shock, I'd also spent the week arsing about with gel and wax in the vain attempt to 'funk it up'. I just looked like I'd woken up after a horrendous 3 day party having slept in vomit. The salon have offered me a free haircut...this doesn't help matters much as what I actually want is my hair back.

It's no good, you have to brave it out, no amount of 'colour' or interesting hair clips will save the day...you must be strong and wear your 'hair don't' with pride. If you colour it you'll end up having to grow the colour out and the ends will end up all dry and you'll have to have another haircut!

My DH said 'oh' when he saw mine and also felt the need to add that he'd liked it better before...oh just kick me in the crotch when I'm down why dontcha.

I have sworn I am never having a haircut again.

im bit more used to it today,still think bit short but got confidence boost when someone i hardly know said i look 'classy and chic'!!!!!
its a bob but goes up bit at back and a fringe- i had fringe anyway but this seems real short.i think it doesnt help i dyed my hair night before quite dark so am getting used to colour and cut.


im still not showing pic though-youll all laugh
