Anyone done Styled by Susie?

Anyone done the online sessions? Thinking of having it done, but at £35 I'd like to know if it's worth the money. I've put on some weight recently so having a major image crisis. This sounds ideal. Anyone any thoughts?

I have. I didn't find it particularly helpful tbh. I think they got my season right and possibly my shape but it didn't tell me anything I didn't really already suspect myself. Some of the clothes recommendations were far too generic - for example they recommended mom jeans (I'm an hourglass) because they have a high waist but in reality Mom jeans look terrible on me and accentuate my protruding tummy.
Apart from a few words at the top it was pretty much a cut and paste job imo.
It's probably helpful for people who really have no idea what season or shape they are but if you already have a reasonable idea I'd probably say save your money as the clothes recommendations on the online analysis aren't very detailed.

Ah thank you! It wasn't coming up on my search.

I didn't think it was possible to be an hourglass with a protruding tummy. Can someone explain that to me?

I've done a gold styled by susie. She got me completely. I had no idea about my colours. I turned out to be winter, which was the last thing I thought I would be but so right.

I'd looked at colour me beautiful in the past, this is a much cheaper option. Go for it, you are supporting a mum who has started her own business. You won't be disappointed.

I've had it done and thought it was helpful. The makeup advice was great, the colour suggestions were spot and really equipped me to choose things better now. Jeans recommendations have been really good too. It's been a great pick me up to feel and look good. Yes the documents are cut and pasty but you get a long email just for you and the documents are actually specific to your shape and colouring that the stylist has analysed you as based on pictures you have submitted.

Link to a rather hefty thread about SBS:

I did the gold package and you should save your money. I got a brief ‘personalised’ email from the stylist (not Susie) of about 400 words but maybe 4 or 5 sentences specific to me. Also included PDFs, total of 20 pages, just images from retailer websites, plus bullet point lists. I’m overweight but haven’t purchased a single item based on the Gold package because there wasn’t enough detail in the guide to shop with.

Susie has a PR agency shopping her to the Daily Mail for slow news days but she’s definitely not Gok or Trinny & Susanah. I don’t think she’ll be on This Morning anytime.

Anyone who starts a business has guts but the guides are like a trial tube from the beauty counter - meant to draw you in to purchase a face to face shop with a stylist.

John Lewis are doing free styling sessions and personal shopping sessions virtually for free and I found them really good

I wouldn’t bother with Sbs, I don’t like the things she puts people in and it’s all just too basic with no real detail or consultation

Hi, I've just seen that the FB group is being deleted and that there will be a £6 monthly fee for access to an app instead (colossal business error in my view!!!) Does anyone know the name of the new FB group that others have set up instead (seeing as any references to it are being deleted on the current page Hmm)

It's called Style Sisterhood, lots of people have moved there from SBS. You may need to type Style Sisterhood SBS to bring it up.

I'd do it for free if you came to 'my ' shop .. honestly I think I know loads of people who have paid her money and the info was so generic .

I think she has made a massive error of judgement with this move, but I wish her luck.
