Upgrading from basic skincare routine

I've been getting my shit together and ( following some superb old skincare threads ) now have an established skincare routine in place:

Cleanse/Double Cleanse ( with flanel)
Acid Tone
Serum
Moisturiser
Spf

This has without doubt improved my skin. I still get blemishes/spots/wrinkles so sent my photos off to Deciem who recommended The Ordinary products with an order of application. So 1st product I want to introduce is the niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%. Can I just slot this in after the acid tone ? Keep using everything else as usual ?
