Hi all,
My hair is very long and quite thick, i can never find a shampoo and conditioner that makes my hair look nice.
I got myself the revlon one step styler and had high hopes my hair would have that gorgeous bouncy soft look... it dont, and i can only put it down to shampoo and conditioner i have tried which are the following
Aussie (the normal ones)
Aussie volume
Aldi 2 types they do
Terssemme
Herbal essences
Elvive

What do you use to give your hair a nice bounce and shine, without all the fly aways too.

Im also getting a fringe cut in tomorrow, so im determined to tame this straggly mess
To add aswell i havent had it coloured in almost 3 years so its not damage from hair dye

And even without the one step styler, blow drying and air drying its always ends up a dry mess

Sebastian penetrait shampoo and conditioner, then a heat protector spray and then a drop of oil smoothed over (I use Wells sp) after blow dry.

Maui conditioner, the normal bottles and use the mask tubs every couple of weeks. Shampoo I'm still searching for perfection.

But also hair oil afterwards to help with detangling and smoothing.

I have similar hair to you op. Mine is long and curly with dry ends and greasy roots and comes up in a nice frizz easily. I colour my hair every 4/5 weeks. I wash my hair about 3/4 times a week and use herbal essences watermint strawberry shampoo for the roots and I shampoo twice. I then use caster and black conditioner from Superdrug for natural hair. I then use a bit of leave in conditioner and leave my hair tied up to dry naturally. When I came back from a beach holiday my hair was very long and straggly. I asked the hairdresser to just cut loads off the length as it was too dry to really condition and needed to go. I still have long hair but cutting off the dry lengths has really improved the condition and bounce for me.

I have very long, thick hair too which can dry out at the ends and get greasy at the roots. I love the smell of Aussie, but it wrecks my hair. The best one I found is a very cheap one, but it's amazing. My hair is so shiny and easy to manage with it.
I'm in Ireland and get it in cheap shops like Dealz / poundshops, but it's also on Amazon

Head Candy Shampoo
