Protected Species parka

After waiting for these to come back in stock, I bought one in the Storm colour but can't decide about it:

www.protected-species.com/our-products/waterproof-parka/

It is lovely fabric and properly waterproof. But I don't like the light coloured lining and it's a lot of money for something I'm not sure about.

I have a parka from Jigsaw that I like but I imagine it's showerproof rather than waterproof.

Opinions please?

I have the mac in black and it is bloody brilliant. It was half-price in the sale though - I don’t know if I’d have paid full-price. I love that it’s properly waterproof, smart, very light and doesn’t crease. The lining isn’t ideal but I’ll take it!

So it was about £100 I presume? The parka I’ve bought is £225 Shock I’m not sure how much I’ll wear it but on the other hand I might appreciate it on a wet day.

I love my protected species coat and wear it all the time. Must agree I’m not in love with the lining but no one ever sees it so I don’t mind that. It is a lot of money though but has been worth it for me.

I was given the mac in blue as a birthday gift, I love it! Smart, waterproof, beautiful lines, bit sad but I look forward to rainy days so that I can wear it Blush

I ordered one of their coats to try, but I found the neck really swamped me in height (also it felt heavy and annoying).

I tried loads of waterproof(ish) jackets and this is the nicest I found and eventually bought:
uniqlo
the sizing is HUGE though, so get smaller than you would normally!

I was on the waiting list for these in summer as seemed like the perfect summer/Autumn rain coat. Not sure it's warm enough for now?
