Serum as primer

I'm in the market for a new primer and was eyeing up Smashbox photo finish primer oil which would be a splurge for me. Then remembered I had Boots Radiance Concentrate Serum in my cupboard so decided to give it a go as a primer - it works beautifully! Would never have thought to use it as a primer but it sinks right in to the skin and leaves it really soft and smooth and a lovely base for make-up.

Boots have recently changed their price and packaging on the Radiance Serum, the one I have is slightly different (and was cheaper) though not sure if the actual formula has changed at all. No way I'll be splashing out on Smashbox now!
