Shaving rash still there (pic included)

I shaved my legs and pubic hair on Friday and still have this horrible rash all over my legs and mons pubis.
I use tend skin after shaving and exfoliate regularly.
I used to just use hair removal cream but have started reacting to it and so am wary of it for now.
Is there anything I can do to stop getting the rashes? I can't afford to get waxed regularly (and look like a plucked chicken any time I do).

Really good razor -Mach ones are fantastic and use a proper shaving gel for sensitive skin,Satincare is excellent. Shave in a downwards motion. Aloe Vera to soothe the rash now.

I use a Gillette Mach 3 and keep one blade for one week for armpits or just one full shave.
I use prince from lush as shaving balm and only shave downwards Sad
I'll try some aloe now thanks.

Maybe you're allergic to the Lush stuff?

Have used it for years but could be a new allergy I suppose.

They might've tweaked the formula and it's just enough to irritate you.

I hope so-can't be doing with this every time I shave.

Looks like ingrown hairs to me, I get them really bad and thought it was shaving rash for years. I use ingrow go and it's made a huge difference for me.

Is ingrow go not the same as tend skin? I use that for the ingrown hairs.

Feel I'm destined to be a red spotted mess forever.

Are you exfoliating a lot in between shaves? That works for me.

Are you making sure you soak your legs first to soften the skin?

Report

I exfoliate each morning in the shower/bath and dry brush on an evening.

Sorry-I soak at least 15 mins first after reading leg hair is stronger than copper wire!

I'm not sure if it's the same, it smells of vinegar, I use it Day and night and also exfoliate daily and tweeze out any hairs I can get to after shaving.
My legs were so bad I didn't wear skirts until this summer just gone.

Now the colder weather is setting in and I've not kept up with the routine they're starting to look bad again. 😩

Maybe you're over exfoliating and dry brushing? That sounds like an awful lot.

If I haven't shaved for a week or two, I'll get bad itchy razor bumps. It acclimated w regular use.

A new razor with at least 3 blades..4 is better. I use conditioner or coconut oil instead of shave cream. I also swipe with witch hazel/tea tree oil antiseptic mixture after

Dove baby body wash is good to use instead of shaving cream, it’s thick but doesn’t clog razor. Have you tried using roll on deodorant afterwards? It really works xx

When I get rashes like that, they go when I put antibiotic cream on them so I think its maybe a bacterial infection with mine. You could try tea tree or similar?
