Getting hair to hold

Clueless beginner here. How do I get a hairstyle to hold all day for a looong wedding? Style is just a neatly blowdried bouncy bob. I have hairspray, but am wondering if there are other products?

Mousse is underrated for holding hair, the boots own brand stuff in the purple can has got a good write up from Sali Hughes in the Guardian before.
