This one www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0202017052.html#Petrol marl - it's under £15, cotton blend, and very flattering, love a throw on dress!

I'm glad it works for you, but I don't like it!

for me it is too short, and too gathered (makes me look like a sack of potatoes) and too dark for summer.

My friend lives in them. I've just reordered two of these in different patterns. I bought two mediums in the shop but they have to go back because they're too big (I'm a short curvy size 12) I've ordered two smalls plus a load of other stuff Grin

Steppemum fair enough! I'm 5ft 3, it seems to be the right length and fit for me. I can imagine it being too short if you're over 5ft 5.

Sorry I think it's really boring

I saw this yesterday, didn't think it would work for a 14/16 apple shape, there was some other nice stuff in though

I tried that on in blue the other day. It was nearly right but not quite. A medium was a bit big on me and I'm a size 12-14 (mainly 14), I needed it to have a v-neck because of my vast tits, and it made me look a bit bigger than I . I have a feeling all would have been solved with a v-neck and the next size down, but didn't have time to get another one to try and it wouldn't have solved the neck issue anyway. But it did look ok and I was expecting it to look dreadful on a curvy, slightly chubby hourglass.

I wouldn't say it was "cheerful". It's grey Grin
It looks quite cool and easy to wear though.

I like it, but imagine you would need to be skinny for it to sit/hang properly. Im too apple shaped for it Blush

I'm 5'9" and a size 12-14 with big boobs and these dresses looked quite flattering on me. It comes in a few different colours including stripy and v neck versions some of which even had pockets!

I have this one in the navy stripe. I'm tall and a size 12 with long legs and arms and no lie, I look like a gigantic bag of nautical shite in it. My own fault though as I bought the XL, thinking it'd be swooshy and cool instead of large enough to house a village.

I bought the striped one, I wear it for gardening. It is quite shapeless and I'm petite. I'm sure you will Rock it op.

See why don't they do the same dress but in a brighter colour? It'd be cooler too, surely.

They do other colours on the website. The khaki that I posted is just one of the colours.

Oh thanks that is what I have been looking for! I'll pop in store and see if they have any.
I bought a couple of similar dresses in Dorothy Perkins last year and they are so comfortable for summer. You can dress them up a bit with jewellery / nice sandals and also wear them as a cover up around the beach/pool.
I looked in Dotty Ps this year but the only similar dress they have is a cold-shoulder one and in viscose when I really want cotton.

By the way I am a size 12/14 and with a decent size chest (D cup). The dresses I already from Dotty Ps have had an elasticated waist which helps to give a more flattering shape.

Its a bit too shapeless for me. Would look good on someone who wasnt very curvy

AnyFucker · 21/06/2017 09:50

It would depress me go wear that
