Just wondered whether anyone had any recommendations on summer dresses-not too fitted-more skimming my lumps and bumps-and not a sack!

TIA

I want the same! A summer dress that is loose enough to be cool to wear, fitted enough to be flattering.

Gap have some really nice ones atm. Better in store choice than online.

I got this one recently. Have really bought much from Sainsbury's before but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It's not my normal style but it is very flattering on.

I know it gets mentioned all the time on here but the Hush Tara dress is amazing:

I'm wearing it today in black. It's 28 deg here but it is lovely and comfy and cool. The ruches are genial as there's no chance of flashing my underwear whilst chasing my toddler round the park. The Venice beach dress is similar but I have a baby to BF so it's sadly not an option. It also seems shorter and is not ruched so perhaps not so practical:

Sorry, I think that link just takes you to main page. It was this one for £40

I love the Hush ones - both of th - but all out of stock! Do they ever re-stock or is that it?

AnnaNimmity · 26/05/2017 19:39

I received this this today. It's really nice (I don't think I was expecting it to be). I used a 25% code I found online yesterday.

I got this one and it's great! Ignore the styling which is dreadful. I wore it today with cream sugerga trainers and sunnies and it was v comfy and cool. Better if you are under 5'6 I'd say as it really needs to be midi length. Oh and 100% cotton and not see through (it's lined)

NigellasGuest Sometimes they do but it's also worth checking every morning for returns. John Lewis also stock Hush so worth checking there as well.

chloechloe · 26/05/2017 20:38

nigellasguest I reckon it will get restocked as it's a staple item of Hush's. Apparently if you email them they're good at letting you know if it will be restocked or not.

There is also a sleeveless version of the Tara dress, maybe that might be in stock?

Nightwriter2017 · 27/05/2017 01:50

chloe can you breastfeed in the tara dress? It looks lovely

Dowser · 27/05/2017 09:08

I wore this yesterday

www.selectfashion.co.uk/dresses/s046-0405-002_mono.html

I know a lot of people hate polysester but I felt smart and cool in yesterday's heatwave.

I was bare legged with white sandals with a few sparkles on them and. When the sea breeze got a bit too cool around 6 pm I had a little half sleeve white cardi.

Not everyone's taste I know.

chloechloe · 27/05/2017 20:42

nightwriter yes you can breastfeed in the V neck Tara without a problem as the V is wide and fairly low. It's the first time I've done the boob out the top thing (usually wear a vest and top) but I was getting fed up of having to wear tshirts all the time! Have just been holding a muslin over my boob when feeding!

Nightwriter2017 · 27/05/2017 21:47

Thank you Chloe, a shame it is sold out :(
