Vaguely stylish yet adjustable sandals or flipflops - am I asking the impossible?!

Please help Mumsnet. I'm mid thirties and I don't mind looking middle aged, but I draw the line at looking like I'm 90!

I've got bony feet that get lost in most non-adjustable sandals or flipflops. I'm desperately looking for sandals with a slight wedge, an adjustable strap or straps across/between the toes and another adjustable strap across the arch. Ideally no strap around the heel as they always rub on me.

I don't mind the Mayari Birkies (see, happy to compromise on style Wink) but the heel is actually quite low, I need a little more height to ensure the evil plantar fasciitis doesn't return.

In desperation I tried Hotter. I actually quite liked these www.hotter.com/gb/en/island-sandals-islnds-product--1?fit=Standard+Fit&colour=Vintage%20Floral but they were too loose around the toe.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Teva, but they might be a bit too flat.
You could try somewhere like TK Max or Office and consider going up or down a size.
I have Birkenstock arizonas and love them for holidays but I went down a whole size to get the right fit.

Thanks, I'll have a look at Teva.

I really rate Sam Edelman shoes, v comfortable. I like Gigi sandals, but they're flat, am sure he would have something that fits the bill (and googling often finds a bargain). Be aware of whether they're quoting US sizes though

European styles are usually much more compatible with slim feet. Have a look at La Redoute, they have 40% off everything at the moment.
I quite like the look of these

I've yet to find anything to beat Scholl Lusaka.
Ticks pretty much all your boxes, fully adjustable and more comfy than Birkies. I've got a condition similar to PF and I walk miles in them- on about my 5th pair!
