Shopping in London

Myself and my husband will be visiting London from abroad this weekend. I am dying to go to J Crew, Cos, R&B and Uniqlo etc . My husband thinks we should shop near Euston Square as there are nice restaurants nearby. Is this a good plan or should I head to regent st first and meet him for lunch at euston square? Won't have a lot of time for shopping so want to make the most of it but also want to go where the best shops are! Thanks!

What type of restaurant do you want for lunch?

I'd go to regents street first then pop on the tube and go for lunch in kings cross. Caravan probably 😋😋

Thanks! Caravan looks great! Ladylapsang, we'd like somewhere which is a bit of a treat, innovative tasty menu, not a run of the mill place.

If I were you I'd do the shopping around regent street, then get the jubilee line from Bond Street to London Bridge and go to Bermondsey street, so many nice places to eat, Tanner and co and Jose tapas are both excellent and have good wine selections. The fashion museum is also there and the white cube gallery too. Borough market is also within walking distance and you can get a close up of the shard.

If staying near Euston sq you're near Marylebone High Street for restaurants, cafes and shops (lovely high end and mid-range shops including Whistles, and others around St Christopher's place e.g. jigsaw). This street leads on to Oxford Street too. For lunch I'd also recommend the Orrery on Marylebone High St which is a lovely French, treaty restaurant next to the Conran shop. Enjoy!

Thank you! Some lovely restaurant suggestions. It's great to have a few options.
