A Pick Me Up Red

I had surgery yesterday and feel utterly blurgh. I have a party on Saturday, not brilliant timing, but have a hair appointment tomorrow for a restyle, and fancied the thought of a new red lipstick to brighten me up a bit.

I'm on the path to reinventing myself, so am new to red. I have pale skin, green eyes and naturally greying/whitening brown hair which will resemble a messy bob tomorrow.

The only shops I have access to are Boots, Next and Tesco. Limited, I know, but we live remotely. Does anyone in the know have any suggestions for what kind/brand/style I should look for?

Green eyes and pale skin I think looks utterly amazing with orange-red lipstick. Boots No 7 does some great orange red shades though I don't know them well enough to recommend a precise one...

I have Boots mirror shine LA red. Its a glossy but sheer orangey/coral red but I do need an invisible lip liner with it.
My favourite is Nars manhunt for one with staying power. Same colour, nice bright tomato red with no blue tone.
