Finally found plus size clothes I GENUINELY love

Apologies if you all already know about this brand - everyone here is about a million times more clued up than me - but I've just bought a couple of things from Scarlett & Jo and I can honestly say that for the first time since being plus size (several years now, thanks to side effects of medication), I've found clothes that actually make me feel good about myself. Up until now I've just felt like a ball of fat in a nice frock. These are flattering, thoughtfully cut, robust fabrics not clingy thin stuff and - best of all - a decent length for wearing chub run busting shorts underneath. Love, love, love.

Favourite thing I've bought is this which is reduced at the moment, but the clearance part of the S&J site has so many bargains too. Of which I am about to partake Grin

I'm just so happy to have found pretty, flattering clothes which make me feel (almost) as confident at a size 22 as I felt when I was a size 12 Smile

Oh, I'm glad you found something you like, it makes such a difference to how you feel, doesn't it. I bought a lot of S&J stuff a couple of years ago, but somehow it wasn't quite me - in fact, you've reminded me I need to start ebaying. Another place you might like if you like S&J is Lady Voluptuous. Their Lyra dress especially is very flattering.

How have I never found this?? Thank you for passing the site on! I've just ordered a few summer dresses from there. It makes a world of difference when you see someone your size modelling the clothes as well.

If you like this sort of stuff you need to have a look at eshakti - which finally has started shipping to the UK. The advantage is that you put your exact measurements in. This is similar to your dress.

I can also recommend george at asda the blouses they have started doing are a good length and fit well. Im off to visit the website you mentioned, 😆

I too am overweight due to medical condition and lack of treatment for a long time and its thoroughly depressing but it does make it better to buy nice clothes x
