Stan Smiths Sizing

I've not bought adidas for years and can't remember what the sizing is like. Is it just normal? My husband seems to think you need to size up but he often says this and I suspect he doesn't know his shoe size.

Also, I've seen some of the Velcro ones I like. Will I look like I can't do laces yet? Grin

I'm a 39 in trainers and my stan smiths are a 38.5 and they fit fine - if anything i find Adidas are rather generous in their sizing (clothes included)! Perhaps it just depends on the feet though?!

I like the velcro ones so would say go for it - But then again, i got a leopard print pair of stan smith look alikes with velcro this winter and i love em Grin

If you have small feet, the Velcro ones will look like you're wearing child's shoes.... learn from my mistakes!

I sized a half size up but that's all. I bought them from the Adidas website (I think they have a first time buyer discount of 15% or something) and there are reviews saying how they fit in real life which I found helpful.

Depending on your size I'd try them. I'm a 6 but bought mine from Footlocker as their kids sizes go to 5.5 and were about £30 cheaper than adults size. The half size down fits me perfectly.

They're in the office sale and they don't have half sizes. I'll try my usual size, I can return them if they're not right.
Handy to know about the junior sizes, I'm a 6 so could work.
