£50 Liberty voucher - what to buy?

Hi there, I was given a Liberty voucher for my b'day and have no clue what to buy. It's a lot of money to me so I want to buy something useful rather than decadent. I use Liz Earle and Elemis which they don't sell and have just been given a bottle of perfume. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Lucky you! Are you near enough to central London that you can go in and browse?

If it's not going to expire soon they'll have a summer sale in June so could get clothes or shoes? Last year I got a Chinti & Parker cashmere jumper for £75 so that would have been £25 for you...

They also do nice homewares and stationery, not just their own brand print stuff but also nice brands like Bella Freud and Hay, so you could get something nice for the house?

Oh and if you need any hair stuff they have just started stocking Davines haircare which has literally changed my post-baby-bad-hair-day life (i got the Oi conditioning milk and the shine mist)

I absolutely LOVE Liberty. In fact I bought an Alex Monroe necklace there only yesterday.
Seconding the homeware and Stationary - all lovely stuff. Diptyque if you like candles? Aromatherapy Associates have the whole range there. Loads of gorgeous Easter chocolates at the moment. Some stunning scarves and bags. Although you'd have to put quite a bit towards them Wink
It's the only place apart from Harvey Nicks that stocks the whole Espa range if you're into that.
If you sew there's a wonderful Haberdashery department.

I could spend all day there!

A new piercing at the Maria Tash studio there? That's what I'd have done, although I appreciate it's a bit niche...

I vote for Votary face oil. I got given a bottle recently and it's absolutely lovely stuff. I use it at night and my skin feels really soft and smooth. It's quickly absorbed so not at all greasy. Think it's about £60.

I'd use it as part payment for one of their shirts.

All I really need is a new pair of trainers (and judging by the website they don't seem to sell shoes anymore), so all of the luxury items they sell are a bit OTT for me. The suggestion to wait for the sale is a really good one pistachio as I don't have a huge amount of money to put towards something bigger. It's kind of the most money I will be able to spend on myself for a while so I want to spend it wisely. I will definitely go and have a browse on Saturday though. Thanks everyone!

PS the voucher is actually a really beautiful gold coin

They've taken most of their non-own brand clothing and accessories stock off the website for some reason, but they do still do shoes and loads more clothes instore.

Don't they do a collaboration with Nike though?

I had one of those lovely coins for my birthday last month.

I put it towards a new nose ring from the Maria Tash department. I would have quite liked a Diptyque candle but there's so much stuff in there I could easily spend money on.

Crikey! Who knew it would be so hard! Everything is so expensive in there £50 isn't much at all. I could have bought a pair of converse trainers, but they don't suit my feet really, or I could blow it all on makeup. If only they'd got me JL vouchers - I could have got loads from there . I will wait for the sales I think...

By the way Elspeth the Nike shoes are all the running/technical ones. I loved these but sadly a little out of my league!
