But DH bought me white sequinned Converse high-tops as a surprise treat. Can I wear them? If so, how? I don't want to be an ungrateful mare and leave them at the bottom of the wardrobe until such time as I can decently shunt them off to the charity shop.
Another one for boyfriend jeans and a blazer (like in Loup's post), it's my go-to outfit. Sometimes swap it out for a biker or bomber jacket. I also like high tops with T Shirt dresses, and oversized knits with jeans/leggings (I'm short too but you can get away with it!)
Thank you for the tip about air and grace. I've been looking for comfortable but lovely shoes. These look very promising. Thank you
ps bite the bullit and just tell him. Don't spend your life with not quite what you wanted to spare his feelings. He didn't get what you wanted. Was it a cost issue? Why did he get something different?
Why can't you tell him? Why would he be upset that you like one pair of trainers more than another? You could say you love him for the thought and going out to get them, but actually you had a specific pair in mind that you'd prefer. How could that upset anyone?
I like the converse better than the air & grace trainers, I'd wear them! With jeans/midi skirt.
