Lost weight so need a whole new wardrobe

Nothing fits anymore so I'm going shopping on Monday. The good news is I'm feeling good and want to try some new things. I've always worn skirts to cover up my huge posterior and never really got on with trousers so I thought I might be able to now. I'm wondering about jegging, tunics, skirts and fitted ts? The bad is that I've got a small budget and don't want to spend a fortune anyway, as I'm still trying to lose more weight. I'm also bfing. I'm 5'6" very pear shaped with a size 14 on bottom and 12 on top. I'm a SAHM of 3 small kids so casual and comfy is good. Anyone got any ideas? Where is good to shop?

Oh & being overweight myself, I wouldn't be cheeky to offer advice!

How about a personal shopping appointment in Selfridges, or John Lewis if you can't get to London?

That would encourage you to try some things that you might not otherwise try.

If you have any decent charity shops near you, possibly be worth a look, as you could get a variety of different styles to try and experiment with which aren't going to cost a fortune.Well done and good luck!

I've thought about a personal shopper but JL is out of the price range this this time, and I'd hate to use the service with no intention of buying.

Debenhams do a great personal shopper service - they have very reasonably priced ranges, and no pressure to buy.

Quite a few sales going on at the moment. I've picked up some bargains from Gap, Warehouse & H&M this week, having also lost weight.

Ah, didn't know Debenhams had a personal shopper, thanks! Gap and H&M sound good, will take a look.

Don't buy anything full price in Debenhams if you're going on Monday, their sale starts later in the week!

I would also recommend going into loads of shops and trying things on to find out what size you are, then go on e-bay and hunt down some bargains.

I lost a lot of weight and used e-bay and charity shops to supplement my wardrobe...especially when I knew that stuff that I was buying would be too big in a while. Gap were good for jeans, loads on e-bay and you can just work your way down the sizes as the weight comes off, they also seem to always have offers on.

If I spent money anywhere it would be on good underwear...put a charity shop top over a good, well fitted bra and no-on will know that you only paid £2 for it.
