Bra intervention help please

Ok so I've lived in non underwire bras for years as I just kept finding the wires digging into my sides under my armpits.
I've measured as per instructed, around ribs is 36" and around boobs whilst bending is 43" which would make me a 36 F Shock I'm currently wearing 38 B .
I do not have the boobs for a F cup, seriously the cups would be empty. I had a breast reduction 10 years ago and my boobs were an F then, the surgeon worked on getting me to a C cup.
My breast tissue seems to go far under my arm pits, along with some fat (I'm a size 14 top)
I have no idea what size to try. Could anyone give me some help please?

You don't measure around your boobs while bending over.

Go to Marks and Spencer for a proper bra fitting, they will also suggest different style of bras to suit your shape

Never go to marks and Spencer's if you want a proper bra fitting!

If your breast tissue goes under your arms, you need the cup line to go round there too - hence an F cup doesn't sound surprising at all. I bet you weren't an F cup when you had the breast reduction too.

The bending over measurement method makes sure the overall breast tissue is taken into account, and that the shape of your breast matters less - your shape does matter in choosing a bra cup shape though. For instance, I don't have fullness on the top so a plunge looks empty on the top, even though the wires fit OK. A half cup otoh looks great - and in a FF cup I don't get the digging in that I did because it is all in there after a good scoop.

Haha! Do you work for M&S, Hopefully? Their bra fitting is atrocious.

OhShit, an F cup really isn't all that big! With your shape, a well fitting underwired bra that fits well will likely have underwires that go right round under your armpits and enclose everything. Try Curvy Kate or Freya balconettes.

My most recent successful purchases are a 30H Curvy Kate Ellace and a 30GG Freya Gem. I'm honestly more in grapefruits than melons territory (actually, more like bananas, but they roll up well!)

Pick is right, sometimes the sizes sound bigger than they are. When I got measured properly I discovered I am a 32e and couldn't believe it as I thought that sounded huge. I have small Boobs but a 32e fits perfectly

No I don't works for M&S. They are actually the only store I could find that could fit to my muscular frame. All the other so called fitters couldn't get to grips with my lats and delts!
