Do leather Uggs stretch/soften off?

I followed the Wilcox flock and snaffled a pair of 7 and 8s, and I can't make up my mind which to keep. The 7 just fits right now on my bigger foot and is perfect on my smaller one, but I probably couldn't wear them for hours. The 8 fits my big foot perfectly but it's large on my smaller one. One is brown and the other black so no option to keep both for the perfect pair, which I have been known to do in the past! Usually I wear 7.5 as my best compromise, but they don't do half sizes.

I'd keep the bigger ones and wear thick socks. Any sheepskin lining and Insole will flatten giving more room but I still wouldn't risk the smaller ones
