Hush tee-shirts - quality?

AstrantiaMallow · 03/03/2017 22:42

Never bought a thing from Hush before but have my eyes on one of their T-shirts because of the print on it.
What quality are they? Is the fabric not too thin?

Not bought a t shirt, but this week have become the proud owner - 😁 - of one of their reversible start jumpers and the quality is fab.

Go for it - can always return if you aren't happy!

I've just returned the olive lightening bolt tshirt. Was so thin and the lightening bolt looked like it could crack and peel. Looked like 5.99 from H&M rather than £35.

I do have these neon striped Breton from a couple of years ago though and it's good quality and has washed well. Still looks like new.

It's hit and miss basically imo

Hush tee-shirts - quality?

I had the white and gold star t shirt and was really awful quality. So thin and the neckline was really saggy with no elasticity so I returned it.
I also have the camo joggers which are terrible quality too. Sagged after first wear.

I have trainers from there and am pondering boots. The footwear seems ok but I think it's actually ash products not Hush. Shame as I think they have such nice stuff but sooo overpriced for quality.

Dreadful. I tried the ampersand one on last year - felt worse than H&M/Primark quality at about 6 times the price.

Yep, I have two Hush tshirts and the quality is appalling for the massively inflated price. Lost all shape after a couple of washes. I had a grey one with copper stars on and a white one with pink stars from last summer I think. I won't be bothering this year.

The jumpers, oddly, are of a much, much better quality.

Their stuff from 3 years ago was great.

I feel the quality has gone down the pan a bit. T-shirts are terrible.

Shame, as nice designs.

Thanks for this - I've been considering the various star T shirts. Are they all as bad? There's a linen one - might that be OK?

I have a couple of their tshirts that people rave about. They are very thin and one developed holes after 2 wears. I now wear it as a (very expensive and scruffy) pj top because I can't bear to throw it away after paying £27 for it.
Such a shame as I absolutely love the design of their clothes, but I daren't buy anything else as in case the quality is equally awful.

This is all very worrying! I wear white tee shirts all year and am slowly trying to build up a stock of decent quality ones that will last for ages. I've just forked out £27 for a Hush one and it's a nice fit but I will be gutted if it only stays nice as long as the ones I buy from H&M! I've put it away to keep new for my holiday so I won't find out till later in the year but I'm not buying anything else from them till I have.

I've bought three times from Hush and the quality varied from very ordinary to shocking.
I think they have very good stylists.

I've the grey with copper stars and the first developed a hole after the first wash and the replacement has just got one (after about 8 washes). It has also gone rather shapeless. It's a shame really as I love the design but the quality isn't great and has really put me off buying from them.

T-shirts are crap quality and always get those little holes in the front.

Nice designs though, so I fall for it every time and buy one.

I had the white one with gold stars last
Year and it was terrible quality . As others have said holes appeared almost straight away.
Wouldn't buy a t-shirt again as for that price you expect decent quality cotton .

Not a great endorsement then!
Thanks all. I'll look elsewhere I think. It was one of the white tees with metallic pattern. I wasn't sure about the sizing either as I read they size large, so if quality isn't great I'll continue the search.

I've just returned 3 t-shirts - fit not good & too thin for the price. Sent back a sweatshirt too as not good value. Pity but I can buy similar quality for much less elsewhere.

Agree with others, I had the grey t-shirt with gold feather last year, gorgeous but it lost its shape and developed holes straight after washing. Ordered one of the lightening ones from this season but returned it because it looked terrible quality for the money.

Pity because their styling is great (and to be fair some of their clothes are better quality) but generally I'm not sure they're worth the hefty price tag.

I bought 2 of the long vest tops at the beginning of the autumn and the quality of them is excellent. I have worn them daily ( when not at work) they wash extremely well, no bagging twisting etc.
I have just bought the Stripey V neck tee and the grey heart print tee, so hoping they'll wash and wear as well. I do think if I'd seen them in M&S I wouldn't have paid anywhere near what they cost so we shall see....

What about the skirts? There's a great skirt I like but don't want to spend a fortune if it's going to be crap quality.

I have t-shirts, dresses and jumpsuits and it's all terrible quality. Sadly.

I had the tshirt with the gold stars. I didn't have any problems with it losing shape etc, but that's probably because after about 3 washes all the gold came off the stars, and I was left with stars that were a horrible matt orangey colour, so it went to a charity shop. Quality is very variable, but for the price, it should be top notch. Shame.

Fucking awful.

I have the slub tee. My £5.99 t shirts from H&M fit, look and wash better. In fact I think I've had better from Primark.

man I also own the ruched skirt. Unlike the t shirts, the quality is superb.
