Showed a friend and she said it was.
Wanted to ask your opinions.
We are both 37.

Hmmm. I quite like it and I'm 33. What would you wear it with?

It depends on what you wear it with and your shape I think. I think on a teenager not, on someone older it had the potential.

With a tight leather skirt, no.

With a pair of slightly too short bootcut black trousers and M&S sensible heel boots, yes.

I think it also depends on the size of your norks. It would look matronly on my ample chest.

It doesn't look very well cut. It's not even flattering to the model's bust, so doubtful it would look good on anyone else.

I don't like the cuffs but I love the print and high neck.

Ummmm. I agree with your friend.

I don't like pattern in white/ivory.
I don't like the trumpet cuffs as they are just a nod to fashion but are not dramatic enough to be fashionable.
The body is too boxy looking.

Not mumsy, just not really that nice. Sorry.

It's a bit 'clowny'.

Not mumsy but looks cheap and not very stylish to me.

PickAChew · 03/02/2017 19:08

It's twee and shapeless and the fabric looks too flimsy for the style.

Love the (bell?) sleeves but not the neckline.
I don't think it's 'mumsy' per se but I don't think it would enhance anyone either tbf.

I really like it and would wear it under a sleeveless dress or something like that, instead of a roll neck. I love the bell sleeves and I like the cutesy look. It could look mumsy if you frumped it up but if you are not frumpy or mumsy then it won't. Yes to the bootcut ankle biters and mum boot. Even a size 6 catwalk model would look mumsy in those! 😂

What's the fabric? Could make or break it.

Silk? Not frumpy.
Viscose / polyester? Frump.

The skirt they've teamed it with is hideous!!!

I'm not fussed for the polka dots but otherwise I quite like and would consider it in another print. I think it would look fine with slim trousers and heels.

WilburIsSomePig · 05/02/2017 09:27

Not very well cut and I think may be uncomfortable to wear. It's pulling across the bust of the model.

I think the only thing this would look mildly ok with is a tight fitting pencil skirt for work. Would look terrible with jeans.

I really like it. I would wear it with black skinniest or pleather skinnies and boots
