So is peg leg a thing?

And can normal people wear it? I bought some in the sale but I can't decide if I just look like my mum in some sensible trousers or actually pretty chic. Mine are thick fabric, chino style almost... Remind me a bit of cotton traders??! What do you think are they just for under 25s only?

I love a good peg leg...not sure I think I'd find them in cotton traders...or in a chino style thick fabric, though? Proper peg legs are awesome, but if they're a kind of peg leg but not really they probably will look a bit shit...
I have assumed you're talking about trousers.

Yes I am what fabric do you look for? I would put up a pic but am in bed and feeling lazy. They are quite thick and a bit stiff, you can turn them up

They also have pleats from the waist band

Yep, that sounds like a good peg leg! Just not sure how well they'd sit in a thick fabric. Cos do some in different colours fabrics each season but I can't find them on the website at the moment.

They can look lovely, and edgy if you wear them with the right things. Or they can just make you look like you have an arse the size of Venus!

I have a small bum but wide-ish hips so I was thinking of fitted tops. On Pinterest I saw them styled with slouchy jumpers but not sure I can get away with that... I will post a pic in the morning

Definitely a fitted top. A slouchy jumper can look great but only if you're so thin that it's obvious you're bulking up with clothes - iyswim!
