Dare I mention Botox?!

Hi Ladies

I'm after some advice and a recommendation, if anyone is brave enough to share, for Botox in Hertfordshire.
I'm 37 and I've got a few forehead wrinkles and my eyes have become quite hooded in the last couple of years with one eyebrow worse than the other, where my forehead (which is quite heavy) has dropped a bit (sounds delightful I know) I've been umming and ahhing about trying Botox. Anyone tried it and can recommend someone local-ish? Bit scared about the possible drooping side effect. I'm in St Albans.

Thanks in advance x

I'm not in your area, but I had my first ever botox in the 2nd week of January this year and I'm thrilled with the results. I'm 43 and could not look in the mirror without focusing on my forehead horizontal lines.
I asked the doctor for a really light touch as I did have worries about how noticeable it would be and the level of non-movement I would be left with.
The lines have really smoothed out and I'm very impressed with the reduction in crows feet, my right eye virtually disappeared when I smiled.
It was not uncomfortable at all for the injections and I'm thrilled with the results. I don't look frozen, I just look much fresher. I still have some movement which doesn't make me look plastic.
I hope you get some advice here for your local area, I wish I had done it already a few years ago and will definately keep it up now.
good luck!

Ah that's brilliant that it's worked so well for you and it's been so positive. Thanks so much for posting. How did you find the place you went to? Recommendation? I've been for a consultation here in St Albans but I'd really like to go with a recommendation and would like a second opinion as the dermatologist I saw said that I was the kind of person that might be affected by the droop afterwards as apparently I have quite a heavy forehead, although she said she would go light and that I should get a good result. But now I'm pretty scared it might happen!

Dr joney de souza in mayfair is good.. You are still very young at 37, maybe fraxel will do you good.. But go for a consultation and see what the dr. Says
