I think this is really cool. Could be old lady if you are an old lady but otherwise could be made look really trendy with the right accessories.

I think you could style this to look great, it needs to be worn as part of casual outfit I think, and possibly a fairly neutral palette. Skinny jeans, low heeled ankle boots or superga style trainers, understated top. I would only wear it done up if I had a blanket style scarf/shawl on with it.

I'd never have thought of it myself but the Hilary Clinton comment is so true (but only with a pantsuit and the 'right' hair)

I wore a similar style to this (though in a beige boucle wool with collar...so not similar really!) all Autumn and will through Spring, with skinnies, low heeled boots, a long sleeved tshirt and big scarf. I love this look, so comfortable and not at all granny.

I think styled as you suggest with some funky shoes, skinnies and a scarf it would be great. Not sure how it would look undone though if it's not as chilly?
