I've just gone through all my tops and here is a photo of the 54(!) that are left
There is a purple top with abstract patterns on it. Next to that on one side is a forest green top. On the other side is an orange top. The green and orange colours are ones I am most complemented on.

My skin tone isn't wonderful (a bit yellow with bags under the eyes) but the right green, blue or bright orange seems to transform me.

I would also very much like more patterned vest tops&t shirts as I'm not great with jewellery so I like it when the clothes do the work.

I am fairly slim for 46 and wear jeans with everything. I look good in jeans as have long slim thighs.

Oh and I work from home -I have a few nice dresses for meetings.

TIA

I can't help you with that, patterns really don't work for me at all. I go for a bit of sparkle on tops or scarves instead if I want something a bit more interesting.

Fat Face? Better quality and nice than White Stuff in my opinion! Not super stylish but good for comfortable natural fibre things.

Thanks both x
Haven't looked at Bowden for a while - can be a bit too instantly recognisable though?

I find Warehouse and Oasis have great tops at reasonable prices, so I'd check them out.

:-) Are you KM'ing?

Are they all tops? Are you looking for layers under or over your tops?

I find Benetton really good for patterned shirts that you could wear inside your tops (collar showing type of look) but particularly good with a long v neck style knit. I think they look better in real life than on the website. Otherwise I tend to wear a vest top that shows under the top layer (usually a long line vest as I find my wobbly tummy needs the distraction). You could try using a coloured vest top to add a more interesting layer.

Sorry lingle if that came across as facetious - I just found it funny that you were looking to buy more with so many - I wouldn't be able to find anything. I am the culling queen though (and no, haven't joined the MK massive)!

Uniqlo do the most beautiful patterned tops IMO. Also H&M are great for vests, I have a polka dot one from there that I love.

I'd also think with 54 tops you had plenty!

Ooh, and I have 21, that includes jumpers!

Good tips here!

I am totally Marie Kondoing -must have got rid of 20 before I posted the OP!

Went to the factory shop ad got this for a fiver -just the right colour!

The other orange shirt has a hole in so I may say goodbye to it.

Dudsville I am impressed you only have 21. Is that for everyday, work and evening? Including both those worn next to skin and the next layer?
