Flat ankle boots

My much loved elderly GAP biker boots have finally been declared too fucked to reheel by the shoe-mender, so I need a new pair of everyday comfy flat ankle boots to wear with jeans. Ideally with thick soles for warmth and in a style that I can throw on to run to the corner shop without faffing with buttons or laces.

I'm off to the West End at the weeks to catch the last of the sales, so what kind of style should I be looking for? What's current? Thanks

Hotters have several flat boots with easy fixings. Really comfy and long lasting.

I love a Chelsea boot and add a sheepskin insole for amazing comfort and warmth. Dune often do nice styles, or Office.

Thanks. Comfy is all very well, but I think Hotter takes it a bit too far Grin. I want something that looks nice but happens to be reasonably comfortable.
My old ones were a lot like these
office biker boots but leather not suede. But I think I should be able to find something better.

These Ugg Chelseas are good but I'm not sure about the colour and the black ones aren't in the sale.
Or there are these Timberlands which fit the bill and look good quality but are maybe a bit too safe and mumsy?
Or would I be mad to go for anthracite?

I like the anthracite ones the best

I have these Hudson chelsea boots (they're on sale with some retailers so worth googling). So comfy and sturdy.

The hudsons are lovely but I think my top budget is 100 quid so I'll see if I can find them discounted.

I've not long bought these.... www.schuh.co.uk/womens/red-or-dead-mountain-black-boots/1473487020/

Have had to give up on my long favoured heels, even I can't still wear 6inch heels when pregnant.

Leather is amazing soft, really comfy more like gloves than boots, no faffing to get on/off either

Those timberlands were too narrow for me - like some of the reviewers on the office website I could barely get my foot in and had to return and exchange for some UGG ones. So don't buy without trying on!!

Bugger, the Tathams aren't in stock in a 6s

You've prompted me to order the Tathams. Are they true to size? They look so warm

Yes true to size. The buckle has some adjustment to it too

Dune, Carvela, Kurt Geiger, Nine West all have sales online at the moment. I would have a look and order online rather than slogging round the shops. Office and ASOS probably have hundreds too.
