Got it for Christmas (only a 30ml bottle TG) just smells a bit musty. To me and everyone else!!

I agree! I actually actively dislike the smell - like cheap aftershave and mustiness! Regret buying mine although haven't tried layering with other perfumes yet

Maybe it's my 'chemicals' that are shit. I hadn't heard of layering it. Tom ford it certainly ain't!

It's the base ingredient they use to enhance scent in other perfumes, so by that logic it should make other perfumes stronger... but I am sceptical!

It's kind of growing on me. I had to spray it again as it had washed off due to al the hand washing with the turkey prep. I sprayed it on my neck as well. It's ok.

I dunno, I quite like it - plus it's the only perfume where a random stranger came up & complimented me on it.

I've had it a couple of years. I can barely smell it on myself beyond a vague smell of cedar, but holy shot THE COMPLIMENTS.

People at work sniffing me constantly and the blokes all telling me that I smell like something beautiful from their childhood that they can't identify, people chasing me down the street to ask what perfume I'm wearing, the works - all the things I had assumed were hyperbolic nonsense in all the reviews!

Must be doing something good, so I've stuck with it!

Okay - I have a DH with a blocked nose so unless my DM jumps up and down with the smell of it when she arrives, I may need to have an outing with it!

Definitely, random people have complimented me on it, but many don't notice it. I kind of like it, it's gentle and woody. Jo Malone smells like shit on me after a minute or two, so does creed, Tom ford is not great on me either. For some reason, expensive scents really honk on me! I do like molecule 01 though!

I have it and I agree about the compliments. It also smells better the longer you wear it. DH says is smells better after we have sex . It must be the pheromones.

I love it. It just smells addictive on me. Its hard to describe but when I wear it I just want to inhale myself constantly. That sounds weird I know
My dh loves it too and rarely notices what perfume I'm wearing, so for that reason alone I love it!

I bought some after I heard a woman being complimented on “the most amazing perfume” when I was out and about. I bought the sample pack and much prefer the Escentric 01. I have smelt it on other people and it’s a smell I’ve always loved, though I had no idea what it was.

I've had people follow me in the grocery store to ask about my perfume, and I've had to write the name down for people several times. One woman described it as smelling 'alpine' to her. I can rarely smell it at all, and when I do-it smells like rubber. It's the strangest thing!

It’s very strange. The woman who was giving the compliments was so excited about it that I nearly bought a full size bottle without trying it out first. I came home and Googled it straight away.
