Where are all the jeans without lycra/elastane?

I have 2 pairs of levis, different styles, neither with any stretch. I love them. I have skinnies with stretch, that's fine. Went into a Levis store the other day and the only style they have without stretch are 501's and I have a pair of those.
Are there any other makes that are just good old fashioned none stretchy denim?

I have the same dilema (well, less so noe pregnant again!) so watching closely. Used to love Gap ones but they all seem stretchy now.

yes they are all bloody sketchy. I am wondering about Wrangler and Lee Cooper. I have a couple of gap trousers that I love but they do have stretch. I am after some rugged basic denim.
It's funny because whenever I wear my 501's I always get compliments. Maybe I should just buy more of those!

Ease up on the lycra, yes. They've gone way over the top with it and it looks hideous. But go back to the old, no-stretch-at-all days? No thanks.

Before lycra came along, I had never owned a single pair of jeans that fitted properly. Not one. Not even half properly. And when you washed them.... sheesh. Days and days to dry then another couple of hours of brute force with the iron because they'd turned to papier mache.

Why does anyone want to go back to that?

Conversely (some might even say perversely Smile) I'm bored rigid with 'buttery soft' leather and yearn for the thick, heavy old school stuff that looked better and better every time you wore it.

Ah, but I love the way my non stretch jeans change over a couple of days. Day on, quite fitted , then get bagger over the next couple of days.
So, still no ideas where to buy the bloody things though.

I tried some Levi 505c the other day and the denim was quite 'old school', thick and rigid. Worth a try?

You are all insane.

Thanks Sorrel, I like the look of the cut. Will pop into our local store. The sales girl there is a bit dim I think. I asked for all the jeans they had without stretch. She gave me a handful to try one and all but on where as stretchy as they get.
Trouble is I am also quite small.( I know, it's not a trouble at all as such but is when it comes to find jeans that fit that are not skinny)
I have the CT's in a 24 but they fall off, so need to try and source a 23, but can't find them anywhere.

Alexander Wang. I got some in TK Maxx the other day after looking for ages. Trouble is, I've put on a bit of weight recently and they're very unforgiving on the tummy so need to get back into them!

Gap original are 100% cotton, as are some of the asos branded ones.

I went to Go Outdoors recently and liked the colour of a pair of jeans on the mens section, so tried the smallest size, and bought them. And they are my favourite at the moment. Slightly slouchy, double seat so wind resistant, and shaped a bit like the very expensive German brand that I can only afford in the sale.

I had been thinking about small men's sizes in Levi's.

Definitely try the mens' Levis. I had a friend who used to look fabulous in a pair of bloke's straight legs.

I have a friend who swears by hiutdenim - I think the girlfriend jeans are proper debim but expensive.

I had been thinking about small men's sizes in Levi's That's what we were all wearing in the late 80's early 90's, the men's always fitted far better than the womans 501's. My then BF had a very skinny flatmate and I remember borrowing a pair of his (and not giving them back).

I've always worn men's jeans because I don't have much behind or waist so the proportions are better on me.
