If you are a size 16-18 what do you wear?

I currently live in dresses and leggings with Chelsea boots, I really need to get my shit together. I'd appreciate if anyone has some jeans recommendations that don't give that fat bulgy camel toe appearance (iykwim) Blush I need some inspiration! Please help!

I'm 16/18 and like the sainsburys skinny jeans. They're very cheap and comfy.

I don't wear jeans much for just that reason. Tend to live in fit &flare dresses, fitted cardigans, opaques and flat mid calf boots, or ballerina's in summer.

Dorothy Perkins jeans are best of a bad bunch, I get the straight ones.

Same size as you (but slowly getting smaller), and it totally depends on your body shape.

I'm a pear, and can't wear tunics and tights because they highlight my large bum and legs.

I tend to wear v necks that skim curves, or layered tops with a vest stop underneath and lacy or sheer and flowing over the top, fairly fitted jeans (comfort top ones are great to not add extra bulk), slightly a-lined but still stiff skirts (denim, canvas) that sit just above the knee, loose cotton patterned trousers.

I'm definitely not a style icon and I'm sure I could dress a bit neater and find some part of my figure to show off but that's what's comfy and what I think looks ok.

I wear jeans or black trousers and have one blue skirt... just had a wardrobe cull... so following for inspiration. Same size I've been for ages but DS2 has left me with more tummy wobble.

I find next jeans very comfortable and there's a range of fits (classic slim I think I'm wearing at the moment).

Watching with interest.

I tend to wear m&s 'lift and fit' something like that skinny jeans, though the thighs do rub threadbare after a while (such a waste!) with a lose top. Or a pencil skirt with fitted shirt or top and cardi.

I bought some Sainsbury's skinny jeans at Mumsnet recommendation but have found that they've got really baggy really quickly.

TBH I really need to lose some weight and get down to a 14 at least - felt a lot more comfortable in myself then

In the winter I wear M&S 5 pocket jeggings in a variety of colours and nice thick jumpers (often men's as they're warmer!) and ankle boots, often from New Look.

I've got some nice opaque M&S tights & I wear midi skirts or dresses sometimes.

In warmer weather I wear lighter coloured jeggings w/ loose Camis or tees from ASOS curve, or maxi dresses (again ASOS, New Look), sometimes cropped leggings with swing dresses.

I find the H&M stretchy vests really useful to wear under everything so even if a top or dress is a bit low cut or clingy, I can still get away with it.

ASOS curve have changed my life when it comes to clothes! Their jeans are perfect, and really true to size. Also check out Fuller Figure Fuller Bust on social media, she is around an 18 and is always recommending great stuff!

I agree that it depends a lot on your shape.
I have a large bust, large hips and much thnnner waist.
So jeans arent working for me but wide leg trousers do. Usually with a fitted top. Wrap style.

I wear a lot of slightly shorter stretchy skirts (whistles ones were fab!) and then a more looser fit top (uniqlo tops are great).

I think (I hope?!) that one half of me in something fitted then other half in something skimming works well. At the mo it is opaque tights and either my Chrurch's brogues or knee length boots.

In summer it's kinda switched, so longer more flowing skirts then a more fitted jersey t.

I'm not that tall, and not massively busty, I have to be careful that the tops I buy aren't too big (I like to hide me a bit) as they then get proportionally too big around the neckline, so actually I look much bigger.

I'm a large 16 at the mo, and would like to go back to being a small 16 or large 14 as I have some nice dresses I want to wear! Nice ponte a line (def not skater!) with pockets are my dream..

I'm a size 16 and have found high waisted jeans to be the best.. select 'heidi' jeans are my go to ones.. so cheap too and different colours /rips etc. I dont bother trying jeans on anywhere else now x

Orangejuiceyfruit...Its funny you should say that, I bought the Sainburys skinny jeans a few months ago and while I have loved previous jeans and leggings from Sainsburys, these are going baggy across the top of the bum already.

They fit lovely and are very soft but I think there is too much stretchy stuff in them

As my user name suggests I dress in a vintage/retro fashion so usually fitted or wiggle dresses and always heels. Can't wait for it to get colder so I can break out my faux fur.
