I'm one of those people that has to keep things perfect, I can't wear them if they are scuffed or stained etc.
Are there any amazing treatments or magic water shields I can buy ?
Thank you

I have a suede brush and sealer spray. Before wearing them for the first time they get a 2 good coats of the sealer. Clean and brushed regularly and sealer renewed.

I use this method on all my suede items and many of them are still going strong.

They only one I have had a problem with was a suede jacket that got a sticker slapped on it Angry by some silly women. I have never been able to get the adhesive off but now wear it with a over sized brooch Wink

Treatment spray (on everything suede and leather) when first buy before I use them. Then they are brushed and put back in the box after use, other shoes/boots cleaned and put back into my shoe closet.

Whereabouts are you? I also have a shoe genius who collects and repairs/cleans any shoes and bags I need and they come back like new. He's amazing, works for a lot of fashion houses and you can post to him too. I can give you his details if that helps.

What boots were you thinking of? I have quite a few pairs of OTK, the Stuart Weitzmans are good and comfy. I like them with a midi dress or knit dress for going out in the autumn/winter.

I use a suede protector with colour and suede brush. Have had a pair of Stuart Weitzmans for years and they still look good.

Property - could you share the details of the shoe genius Smile?

I'm in brum, I was looking at the Ted and muffy ones, I've seen the SW ones and they are out of my league completely unfortunately

As everyone else says - spray at least once before first use, and for shoes in regular use I brush and spray every couple of weeks, same as I would polish leather ones. My Stuart Weitzman OTK boots have been done each time they've been worn, but it's been wet both times!

Clarke go up to a size 8, so I have to pay an extra £100 for half a show size up

Yeah, as above - protector and suede brush. I also have some sort of sandpaper block thing from R&B which brings my SWs up nicely.

Someone on here suggested treating with nikwax before wear, as hardier than regular suede spray. I bought some for my new boots but haven't tried it yet....
