Is this genuine?

I'm thinking of buying a mulberry bag. I've seen this online.

www.mulberryoutlet2uk.com/

I'm a bit dubious of the prices though. Do you think it's authentic? If not, can anyone recommend a good site at discount prices?

Thanks Smile

Hmm seems a bit too good to be true.
Great prices if they're the real deal though.

There are no contact numbers or address so I would avoid.

If it's seems too good to be true then it probably is. Avoid!

They have a contact us part. Would it be rude if I asked why they are so cheap?

I've googled it and it's not a genuine Mulberry retailer. Apparently the business is based in the Netherlands, but the suspicion is that it's actually based in Hong Kong.

Ah ok. Thanks!

I would avoid. I got my Mulberry bag at the official discount outlet in Bicester. They also have outlets in Cheshire Oaks and York. Might be a bit of a trek depending on where you are but at least you'll know that you're buying a genuine bag.

Not genuine I'm afraid.

In my experience the only way to guarantee genuine is new from an official stockist or new from an official outlet. There may be other ways but after a disastrous experience with an apparently genuine LV bag from Ebay, which really wasn't, I am too chicken to take chances

Definitely not - don't get caught out using this site, you'll end up with an awful disappointment. There are a lot of fake websites selling mulberry, the only genuine is mulberry.com - and then bigger retailers like selfridges and online well known retailers.
Which bag are you after? I'd be happy to help you track down a genuine one pre owned, otherwise, the next sale will be at Christmas. It usually starts Christmas Eve and the outlets go into sale also.
If you want a mulberry, don't go near the ones pretending to be outlets online, mulberry doesn't sell outlet pieces online. You can phone them (York, Shepton Mallet, Biscester, Cheshire Oaks) and ask about stock and they will do mail order.
Let us know if you buy, I love looking at bags!!

Thank you Serenite

The one I have my eye on is the small bayswater satchel in tan. I don't think I'm near any outlets in Edinburgh. The nearest would probably be Livingston but I don't know if they do it.

I've looked up Livingston designer outlet but I don't see Mulberry listed as a store there. I'm pretty sure the outlets are the ones mentioned above.
It'd be an easy thing for you to phone them (persevere as it takes ages to get an answer) and ask about stock levels in the outlets but I'm not entirely sure which bag you mean.
Do you mean the Antony, £495 on the mulberry website? Or if it's not this one, try and find out the name of it - have a look on their website or if it's an older style bag, try googling it till you find a picture and track the name of it that way. Once you have the right name for it you can start searching...exciting!!
If it is Antony in Oak (the tan colour) these bags will not go in the sale as they are in the classic collection.
In the outlets you could be lucky and get one with a tiny fault (they won't post these out though, as customers need to see the issue) or one in a different leather/colour. If you want to stick to the one you want (and I suggest you do - a purchase like this needs to be the exact bag you want, not a nearly!!) and you can't get to an outlet, then you are looking at pre owned, if you don't want to buy at full price. Hope this helps

Ok - wait a minute!! I didn't read your post right! Sorry. So it's the small Bayswater satchel in oak you're after - beautiful bag. I'm busy right now (which is why I misread but I'll have a look and post later)

Thanks! I think I may have found one. Authentic? If it is, I'm thinking this is the cheapest I will find.

I really like it but I don't want to buy it in case it's not, but then I don't want to wait too long in case someone else jumps in first. Argh! Decisions!

Not that I am mulberry obsessed (actually haven't bought from there in a while) I just love bags and that's a beautiful bag. In the navy leather it will get more unique as its used. You did say you were after the sbs and that bag has a long strap so you can wear it cross body. The buckle bag on finer things (absolutely genuine website imo, think it's Hannah who owns it) doesn't have the long strap. It's probably a little bigger than sbs and I'm not sure the handle would go on your shoulder, maybe more of a grap/crook of elbow style bag. I think the mini buckle bag had the long strap. It's beautiful and great condition for that price, can you go and see it or phone to get more details. You probably realise all this already so please don't think I'm being picky (!) - it's a great price but still a considered purchase so you need to make sure you're over the moon with it, the style suits your lifestyle and what you want. Let us know what you decide, I get ridiculously excited about someone buying a beautiful new bag Wink

OP I bought my Alexa from thefinerthingsaberdeen and it's genuine (second hand) and the lady who runs the company is a pleasure to work with. Good luck.

Thanks everyone Smile The bags on there are gorgeous I just can't decide. I think I like the Bayswater satchel the most though.

Thanks korma the bag you're selling is beautiful. I'm going to have to have a long hard think as this will be the most money I have spent on one item!

Naughtipidgins nest often has mulberry, she's lovely. I have sold a couple of bags of mine through her.

I agree Lazy. I have bought a fre through Sian at Naughtipidgins nest (not a great name for the company though - I always struggle with how to spell it. I think on line now she is known as npn bags). Always closes for school holidays so will hopefully have lots of new stock when she re-opens her online shop next week!
