Any ginges out there who dye their eyebrows?

I have practically non existent blonde eyebrows and am wondering whether to brave some colour (to make me look less tired!!).

Any advice on dying and how not to look crazy or how to get used to the look with make up products first?

Yes it makes a huge difference - but ask for mid brown and no darker! I get it done (and my eyelashes, which look great in blue/black). Alternatively, buy a brow pencil (in dark blonde/mid brown) - the MAC ones are really good.

I don't dye mine but do colour them in.

I use GimmeBrow by Benefit now in the lightest shade.

I started off with an Anastasia brow powder that I could go lighter handed or heavier handed once I got the look I wanted.

It did take a few weeks of perseverance to get used to having eyebrows but now I look odd without them! They definitely frame my face better when I get them right but I'm still too scared to dye them.

Make sure you don't go for anything too red though, I don't think red toned brows suit anyone, even redheads (although obviously there are a million shades of red hair so I can't speak for them all!)

I dye them myself. Boots sell an eyelash and eyebrow dye for £8 that does several applications. I use the dark brown and it's not too dark. Takes 2 minutes to do. I just use mascara for my lashes as I find dyeing them too fiddly.

I do.
It's made a massive difference to my face (in a good way).
I started off going to a professional (I asked someone with good brows where they went) but now I do it myself with a home kit. The first time it took a while to get used, but I look more grown up and put together. The good thing is if you have pale brows you probably have lots of hair there to dye....the lady I went to initially said the biggest problem with brows is over plucked ones.

Yes, I do albeit I'm a washed out strawberry blonde. I've done so since I was about 19. It makes a huge difference but only lasts 4 weeks.

Ask for light brown dye for your eyebrows and get your eyelashes done in blue-black whilst you're there.

I have patchy eyebrows so I do fill them a little with Maybelline brow pencil & powder in Blonde but the eyebrow tint does most of the heavy lifting.

Thanks everyone! Feeling a bit braver now!!! I'm so rubbish with make up I might go down the recommendation route.

Here's hoping I don't look like Norman Lamont once they're coloured in....
