Brazilian blowdry DIY will it work for my hair?

Recently I went to a salon for a complete change in style and colour. I know from previous experience my hair can't go much shorter than my collar bone as it flicks uncontrollably at the ends.

My hair looked fab but it was about 2 inches shorter than I had asked. But it looked amazing.

Until I washed dryed and styled it myself. Awful flicking at the ends despite my hours worth of straightening the opposite way using the same straightners as the salon. It did stay but I'm having to straighten it ever day down as the underneath in particular curls up and flicks overnight.

I wanted to go shorter to avoid this. I've been eying up the DIY Brazilian blowdry kit off amazon for a few months now as one are in particular has become really frizzy.

If i get it do you think it will cut down on the styling time and tame my ruley hair?

I'm considering just trying the back section only but it may be a utter faff having to do my hair twice and don't know what will happen if I accidentally went over the same bits twice?

It def stands a good chance of working from your description - as that's exactly why I do mine. The Amazon stuff is amazing - you do need someone else to do the straightening for you - unless you are a contortionist with stamina!!

Thanks for you post.

I'm going to get it. I've read the instructions and just washed and dried mine and did the straightening 5 times to get used to it and it looks a lot better than how I normally do it. Think that's due to the very small sections.

It's gotta be worth a go as I'm going on holiday in 2 weeks and I'm hoping it will really help with the humidity and frizz.
