Which foundation for photos - abroad

I'm going to a wedding abroad and I know there will be a lot of photos. I need a foundation that will stay on my face and not make me look like a ghost in the photos.

I'm early 40s and I can't even really say for sure what 'type' my skin is Confused It used to always be on the dry side, now I find that I have a tendency to shine on the t-zone and I have small very dry patches here and there. I like good coverage so don't want to go down the route of a BB cream etc. - I have really bad undereye bags - God not exactly selling myself here!

Can anyone recommend a suitable foundation? The choice is a bit overwhelming to me. I'm currently using Rimmel Wake Me Up btw. Thanks.

I use Maybelline fit me matte and poreless and it last all day. You need to look for foundation without SPF as this is what causes the "flashback" in photos.

Thanks, does that Maybelline one have an SPF in it?

No - it doesn't refer to one on the bottle anyway!

Charlotte Tilbury does a lovely foundation called Light Wonder that's great for holidays. I usually wear Chanel Les Beiges but find it too heavy for holidays so the CT bridges the gap. Used with YSL concealer it is just enough coverage without being caked.

Face Atelier is my holy grail foundation, you can buy samples here it's so good.

No sunscreen but you should be using separate sunscreen anyway, let each product do their one job well. this one is good and it is not like western sunscreens, you won't know you're wearing it.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk.

I'm a MUA Assistant for weddings, nights out etc and this is hands down the best foundation for photos.

Make Up Forever HD is also great.
