I'm after a slouchy, charcoal grey jumper...

Good quality, ideally with a high wool content. I know it may be the wrong time of year but has anyone seen one?

Am a size 16/18 so some styles won't suit...

I think this is my favourite

these are really nice - i have a couple of the crew neck and a v neck as well

The Boden Everyday Relaxed V neck is a lovely slouchy shape although I didn't find the quality that great. This grey may be too pale but they'll probably put it out in more colours for autumn.

Or they've got a cashmere version in a lovely dark grey which I can't afford but keep eyeing up anyway.

I got one from Hush last year (think the style was called Adele or something) after a similar quest.

Everything else was crap fabric or gathered around the waist or had the wrong neckline.

You have to be handy with the JML 'bobble off' with Hush jumpers.

The Boden one looks great. Thanks Flo. I might buy that one now.

Have you had a look on Uniqlo?

Hush have one in their autumn preview.

Woolovers' cashmere and merino blend jumpers are lovely.

Men's but could work. I yearn for a Margaret Howell jumper...

I'm after a similar style but it must be totally non wool (major allergy). Has anyone seen one in their searches but discounted it because it wasn't woolly enough?

Poppy - I've just bought this one from M&S - very soft, drapes nicely and feels lovely. It's a grey marl though, not solid grey.

rusty I like that in the burgundy

poppym12 Mon 08-Aug-16 13:09:51

Thanks rusty. Roughly how long is it on you?

witsender Mon 08-Aug-16 13:38:36

Thanks everyone, will work through links!

I'm 5'2" and the size 14 just covers my bum - it's 28" /71cm from back neck to hem.

burnishedsilver is the Hush autumn preview online or just the printed version, do you know?
