I've finally decided that now is the time to invest in one of these machines. I'm hoping to go tomorrow abutnd get one. If you have one, could you tell me which model you have and how much you (hopefully) love it.

This one love it to bits. Used it exclusively on my legs at first and it took two or three months to really kick in but once it did, that was it, hair gone. Once I'd tackled my legs, I went after my bikini line. That took just a couple of goes before the hair just went.

I'm considering one of these too as I'm tired of the ingrowing hairs I get from waxing or epiliating. How hard is it to use on backs of legs, bikini area etc?

When they say it can't be used with red hair, do they mean hair with any red in it or just very red hair?

Colourmylife1 I don't have any particular problems and I'm only moderately bendy.

Imperial It won't work on red, blonde, grey or white hair because there's no/not enough dark pigment in it. Not sure it's possible to say how much red would be too much but given the price I wouldn't want to gamble on it working. I know it's possible to buy from places like QVC with a 30 days money back guarantee but the problem is it will probably take more than 30 days to see a result.

Well, I decided on this one.

Went into a big store to buy it, but its an online offer so have to wait until Monday to collect it. I've bought it mainly for my beard and I'm hoping it works quickly as we move to Malta in 6 weeks and I'd rather not be shaving everyday!

Does it hurt?

I got mine Lumea from QVC. They only seem to stock them when on the TSV though. They extend the money back guarantee to 60 days and have split payments.
I kept mine. Love it. I'm pasty white with dark hair. Legs and bikini line amazing, didn't work so much on face but still an improvement. I think it's because hair is lighter/finer.
Not sure of model but mine has 3 heads. Face/body/bikini line. I think it's more to do with the number of flashes you get over life of machine. More flashes, more expensive.

I don't think it hurts personally. Odd sting but it's really nothing. And burning hair smell when doing your face.

It's also quicker than I thought it would be. Using highest setting it's about 5 seconds between flashes. I can get one full leg done in about 20 mins before needing to recharge it to do the other one.
Face takes 2 mins tops.
