Would anyone care to help me cover up the crepeyness?

It's yet another wedding one I'm afraid.

I thought I was sorted, intended to wear a dress with 3/4 sleeves but have decided it's too wintery so I've bought this one.

The problem is my upper arms, I really have to cover them. Any suggestions will be very gratefully received.

I'm also undecided about bag and shoes.

Btw I'm fairly ancient and sadly can no longer wear towering heels.

Would anyone care to help me cover up the crepeyness?

Oh this pisses me off so much. Pretty dress though! At another time of year I'd have gone for a cropped, faux fur jacket. But I guess at another time of year you could get a dress with frigging sleeves.

My usual solution is a cropped cardi (not a shrug). The nicest ones tend to be cashmere so you have to pray it's not too hot on the day. Boden and Pure collection usually have lots of colours and there are normally discount codes knocking around.

Or would some glam over-the-elbow gloves work? Depends which part of the arm you want to cover.

Then you've got shrugs, jackets, wraps, pashminas, those arm cover-ups (Mary Portas did them for a while)... Personally, I feel a bit prissy in them all plus I think they can draw even more attention to arms. Sorry if that sounds negative - I've seen other women look good in them, they're just not for me.

My going-out shoes are some Boden silver, pointy flats. I think they still do them. Hope you find what you want and have a great time!

A bolero of some kind? Depends how much of your arms you want to hide. You can get knitted, crochet, satin or lace ones.

Thanks so much for looking. I know what you mean Floisme I see women wearing those arm cover ups and just know they're trying to disguise something. It's my flabby, crepey, upper arms I need to hide so gloves wouldn't work.

The problem with the lace thingies is that I always think they just don't belong with whatever dress they're being worn with. Thanks Rebel.
I'll keep looking for a cropped cardi I think.

I have a Phd in cropped cardis! Sorry - can't get any links to work at the moment without crashing but Boden and Pure Collection both have some.
