Cuticle help

[Patterkiller]

Firstly I'll start by saying I have a weird fear of my cuticles. I can't do anything with them or let anyone else. I'm just too squeamish.

However they are now spoiling my nails, raggy and overgrown.

My question, is there any thing that will gently sort them out without having to push or manhandle them too much?
